The Responsibility is Yours:

You, the homeowner, are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the water and sewer service lines from the meter or property line, to your home’s foundation wall.

 

Does homeowners insurance cover this?

In almost all cases, your homeowners insurance only covers the damage that broken or leaky water or sewer lines cause.

They typically do not cover the costly expense to repair or replace the actual service lines. In the rare case where a homeowner policy covers the actual service lines, we will refund 100% of any premiums paid.

 

Does my home qualify?

This program is currently available for residential homeowners only. You must be the legal property owner to join. Commercial buildings, mobile homes and multi-unit buildings are not eligible for this program at this time.

 

What is the water line coverage?

You will be covered for up to $5,000 for each service call, $5,000 aggregate (Maximum) per year. This includes the cost of repairs or replacement of a broken or leaking water service line between the meter or property line and the home. In addition, your coverage includes all service call charges, materials and labor for the covered work. With no deductible to worry about, you can have peace of mind knowing you will not have to pay anything within the coverage limits.

 

What is sewer line coverage?

You will be covered for up to $5,000 for each service call, $5,000 aggregate (Maximum) per year. This includes the cost of repairs, de-clogging of pipes or replacement of a broken or leaking sewer service line between the meter or property line and the home. In addition, your coverage includes all service call charges, materials and labor for the covered work. With no deductible to worry about, you can have peace of mind knowing you will not have to pay anything within the coverage limits.

 

High Standards you deserve at no extra cost:

In almost all cases, we will return your property to pre-event conditions up to the limit of your coverage. We do not charge any additional monthly fees for the following: sod replacement and installation, sidewalk patching or replacing, and driveway patching. In addition, our professional staff will survey and determine the best way to re-route your current service lines for minimal damage to your property. Service and high professional standards are the heart of our commitment to you.

 

When does my coverage begin?

Your coverage begins 30 days after your acceptance form is processed and payment is received. The 30 day waiting period helps to reduce premium costs. After the 30 day waiting period, you will have not interrupted coverage as long as you continue to make your premium payments. National Water Company administers this program on behalf of Lyndon Southern Insurance Company. National Water Company is an independent company that partners with utility companies, municipalities and private water companies to provide financial peace of mind to customers.
